Maggies (Magnepan/JM Lab/Rowland) This is my current primary Music/HT system. I am probably split 50/50 in usage. Just discovered vinyl and how wonderful they sound on the Maggies. Until recently, my biggest gripe was the lack of a deep, bass foundation. I was previously using a single V2W for both HT and music. It did a good job but I wanted more. The addition of a dedicated 2Wq for each Maggie has far exceeded my expectations. 02/14/04 - Just replaced the McCormack .5 REV A for the MG 3.6R, with 2 Rowland 201 monos. The amps are still breaking in but the system is much more dynamic with a much larger sound stage. |
